Thank you for your interest in my alterations services! Fall has been a rough season for our family, I appreciate your patience with response times while we take care of our physical and mental well being. Please note that the majority of my life is spent running after an adorable tiny human and making sure she grows into a kind and wonderful person. I am not often able to respond to inquiries right away. If you haven't heard back in a week, feel free to send a follow up email/text and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
My name is Alexandra Klok
I am a mom, seamstress, educator, and artist based in Madison, WI. I started learning how to sew as a small child helping my mom make our Halloween costumes (anybody else choose to be a Candy cane for Halloween?). She gave me my own machine at 16 when she got tired of me stealing hers. From there I started working in fabric stores and later started teaching sewing lessons in 2013 when I moved to Madison. I have taught all ages from 6 to 96 and even some art exploration lessons for babies. I started doing bridal alterations full time several years ago and I love it.
My husband Colin and I started our biggest adventure in January of 2022 with the birth of our daughter, Eloise. I now see clients in the evenings and spend my days doing my best to help her grow into a kind and wonderful person. It is my favorite thing watching her grow and explore this crazy life with our two wonderful dogs, Calypso and Fergus, at her side.
